I have to say, I really struggled to not put exclamation marks at the end of every one of these. Especially the first three because I’ve treated myself to all these things which are already making me super happy even though I’ve barely used them.
A week of well being and happy memories is the best way to describe it, I think!
1. Colouring book.
After seeing these everywhere, not just in the blogging world, I couldn’t wait to have a go. I spent ages looking at all the different ones before deciding on the Animal Kingdom. It looks like an amazing way to destress and spend an afternoon chilled out. The designs in the book are so beautiful as well, it’ll be a challenge to keep them as pretty with colour.
2. My first Birchbox delivery.
After seeing so many bloggers use Birchbox I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I was so excited when this little package arrived! The samples are all perfect for a holiday, and that’s when I’m gonna use them all. Little things like aloe vera, salt spray, sun cream. All perfect for a week in the sun!
3. Smoothie maker.
I’ve been eyeing up this smoothie maker for weeks now. I’ve always wanted one but thought they were just too big for student life. But then this little beauty came along and solved all those problems! It’s perfect for one person to make a smoothie for on the go. And smoothies are always delish!
4. Mum’s birthday.
My mum turned 42 on Tuesday! She had to work for most of the day, which kinda sucks, but it was nice to give her a few prezzies once she got home. And her piece of birthday cake got a little candle on top, because the best thing about birthdays is blowing out your candles.
5. A relaxing bath.
I LOVE baths! And I’m making the most of ours whilst I’m home for the summer. A nice smelling candle or two, bath bomb, and some pampering. That is what dreams are made of. Aw, I wish I was in a bath now.
6. Old photos.
How fun is it to look through pictures of your childhood?! And pictures of your parents/grandparents’s younger days too. I spent a whole evening this week just looking through the dusty albums, laughing at memories and awful clothes (though some of the clothes were pretty snazzy). Nostalgia, eh! Great stuff.
